The discovery workshop.
We started doing our the discovery workshop as a way to get enough information to create content that aligned with our clients marketing needs. What we found was that our workshop format delivered much more, which uncovering many opportunities that were not previously understood or utilized. This step in our process has become one of our most valuable products.
Single Take Videos
These videos are easy. They take pretty close to zero editing, just trim the head and tail and add a title. They are perfect for social feeds. They are a great way for your people to get to know you as you share some behind the scenes or your insider knowledge.
Micro Edits
Micro edits are another easy content type. When filming out in the field. It is very often that a scene presents itself. Filming a micro scene as it unfolds from a few different angles gives us an opportunity to piece together a short montage to some music.
Brand Content Shoot
These shoots are different from a traditional video or photo shoot in that they are not based around a script and are filmed by one person with one assistant at most. The concept is based around being nimble working with a stills camera , a cinema camera and a drone when applicable, utilizing natural light and capturing candid moments from a cinematic perspective.
The content acquired from a Field Day can be edited to create
Single photos -for websites, and social posts
Photos in Series- for social post carousels, articles, and educational blogs.
Candid single takes - for social platform stories and reels
Intentional single takes- for social platform posts of all types, for You Tube
Micro Edits- for social platform stories and reels

60 -90 second bio
These videos can be made simple or complex. In the simplest form they are based off two things-an interview and -a person doing a thing in a single environment. These can work great for artists, crafts people, and others who work in a visually interesting environment.
3-4 minute short film
These videos are great for telling more complex stories about a business, an offering or an idea. They require a significant amount of editing and usually require a small crew for a full day or more to film. These short films start with preproduction documents that ensure a cohesive nature to the film, and that all shots needed for the edit are acquired during the shoot.
30 - 60 second spot
Sometimes starting with a concept is the only way to go. A 30 or 60 second spot can be simple or complex. Crew sizes, on screen talent, and the production design required to fulfill the vision vary wildly. Here is an example of a minimal budget very simple concept.
